Featuring a cleaver style CRYO D2 steel blade with a stonewash finish, stainless steel frame, and rugged G10 handle. This everyday carry all-stars slip joint mechanism is designed to be safe and offers an effortless and smooth opening and closing action, with a strong and confident open position. It’s the globe-trotting member of the of the Stout family.

With a sub-3-inch blade and two-handed opening slip joint, Stout SJ has a travel-friendly and universal knife law-compliant design that adheres with the laws in the majority of cities, states, and countries where one-handed opening or locking knives are banned.

Equipped with an elegant slip joint mechanism that holds the blade open with a spring and is closed manually once the spring force is overcome. Smooth opening and closing with a confident open position.

Versatile high-carbon tool steel that is cryogenically heat-treated to SOG’s unique performance specifications. D2 provides the ideal combination of edge retention and durability for long-term use.
